 On March 29th Storefront will present a Cabaret Series with a collection of 100 material samples displaying a contemporary array of experiments through a series of 8 techniques: Digital Manipulation, 3D Embroidery + Upholstery, 3D Printing, Weaving, Felting, High-Tech, Surface Manipulation and Layering – plus Creative Community Contribution.

Cabaret Series: Textile Samples is a book launch event that celebrates the intersection of textile and technology in the making of both normative and extreme interior space on the occasion of the release of Textile Technology and Design: From Interior Space to Outer Space, a new book edited by Deborah Schneiderman and Alexa Griffith Winton. The event will showcase a series of 5 minute performative presentations by designers who make or manipulate textiles.
